Breeding the Standard Poodle for "Attitude" & "Affection" is our mission and we think that we have accomplished that with this litter.

People who come to visit with our Poodle Puppies are frequently surprised that our Poodle Puppies are so calm and well adjusted. The puppies are not fearful of visitors, love to play, but when tired will fall asleep in the arms of our visitors. From the day that our puppies are born, we handle them from the top of their heads to the tips of their tails. We handle their feet and put our fingers in their mouths. We invite people of all ages to come to pet and play with the puppies. We make sure they are exposed to people of all ages - from children to senior citizens - both male and female.

Studies done on infants who are frequently handled and treated with love versus those who are left alone show that the children frequently handled in a loving atmosphere are more intelligent and better able to adapt to life circumstances. We believe is the same for puppies. Puppies left alone in kennel situations grow up without the exposure  and socialization that a Classically Suited Standard Poodle puppy experiences. The puppy raised in a kennel setting generally lacks the skills to adapt to varying situations. Puppies raised without socialization frequently mature into either an aggressive or timid/fearful dog.

At Classically Suited Standard Poodles we  proud of our breeding philosophy. Most of our puppies are sold to friends and acquaintances of owners of one of our puppies from other litters.

The puppies from this "Boo" and "Denver" litter are especially social. They have inherited the calm, gentle personality  and intelligence of their mother and the playful, devil may care attitude of their dad. This is the first litter that at  seven weeks I am unable to make a pick for a puppy to retain as a show possibility. Likewise, I am unable to choose the two puppies that will become Service Dog Puppies-in-Training. They all have excellent structure necessary in a show pick and the calm, intelligent demeanor of the ideal Service Dog.
